Residents can continue to play a critical role in slowing the spread of coronavirus within our community by adhering to restrictions.

Greater Geelong Mayor Stephanie Asher

Everyone in our community has put in a remarkable effort so far to help slow the spread of the virus. The response from the residents of Greater Geelong has been outstanding.
After weeks of adhering to strict social distancing rules and guidelines, we have all been anticipating the implementation of a safe and staged relaxation of restrictions. But now is definitely not the time for complacency. The safety and wellbeing of our employees, volunteers and community remains the Council’s main priority and the basis of all our actions. It is vital that we all continue to stay the course and follow the restrictions and guidelines that remain in place.
