Event postponements and updates

Given the current restrictions in place due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, events are unable to be staged at this time.

Some of our favourite events have chosen to postpone rather than cancel while others are getting creative (check out our new Virtual Events category)!

We are excited to say they will be rescheduled to a later date.

We will update the list of postponed events below, adding updates and rescheduled dates as they are announced.

We've going virtual!

Events Geelong has launched a new online destination, 'Virtual Events' - bringing events to you in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, while we can't catch up in person, you can explore and participate in a range of local community gems from the comfort of your home!

Just like the annual events you look forward to, there's a wide range of topics on offer with events for kids and adults alike.

Some events are designed for fun. Others have been created to support our health and well-being or further our education.

Many of these Virtual Events have been developed by creative event organisers keen to continue connecting and engaging within our community.

In addition to participating in a Virtual Event, if you know of other creative people hosting such an event, please encourage them to share what they are doing by listing the event on Events Geelong's website.
