Improvements to pedestrian access at key central Geelong locations have made it easier for people with disabilities and mobility limitations.
Eight footpaths around Eastern Beach and the Moorabool Street entrance to Westfield Geelong have benefited from the upgrades.
The works were delivered by the City as part of the Central Geelong Accessibility Improvements Project.
The project follows an accessibility audit of central Geelong undertaken by the Revitalising Central Geelong Partnership that identified access challenges for all users.
With Geelong a UNESCO City of Design, the Revitalising Central Geelong Partnership aims to design places that are welcoming for everyone.
