Following its official opening in April, the
new Armstrong Creek East Community
Hub is hosting fitness, dance, faith,
youth, writing and new parent groups in
the flexible 2800 square-metre facility.
The wide variety of activities reflects
the rising population in Armstrong
Creek’s first residential precinct, which is
expected to be home to around 17,500
people when fully developed.
The hub is located on Central Boulevard
next to the Armstrong Creek School,
which opened in 2018.
The $15.24 million facility has been
jointly funded by the Victorian
Government ($7.24 million) and the City
of Greater Geelong ($8 million).
The largest integrated centre of its
kind in Greater Geelong features a 191
place long day-care and kindergarten,
operated by Bestchance Child Family Care.
