Community buses

Our community buses are available for hire exclusively for registered charities and not-for-profit, volunteer-run, incorporated community groups.

To further assist in the prevention of the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and ensure the continued health of our community buses are unavailable for hire until further notice.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your support in maintaining the health of our members and wider Geelong Community.

Steps to book a bus

There are 4 clearly defined steps to booking a community bus:

  1. Register group with Transport Safety Victoria (once-off)
  2. Register group with City of Greater Geelong (annually)
  3. Each driver must submit driver declaration (annually)
  4. Submit your booking/s online (at least 7 days notice)
