We run our seasons in accordance with the Determination of Seasons Act.
This act stipulates that the summer season runs from 1 October to 31 March and the winter season runs from 1 April to 30 September.
In accordance with the seasonal allocation of grounds, clubs apply for the use of their nominated ground for their home and away season only. It is the responsibility of the relevant league/association to nominate finals venues and to apply for use of these venues additional to the clubs home and away seasonal allocation.
The seasonal allocation application is sent to clubs 2 months before the commencement of their season. We require that you provide your completed application along with the relevant public liability insurance prior to the commencement of the season. If this application is not completed and returned, we have the right to allocate this ground as we see fit.
The casual booking process allows groups and clubs to use grounds on a casual basis without entering into a long-term arrangement.
The league or association must complete this application and return it, along with a copy of the league or associations public liability insurance, to the City for approval.
All finals venues are required to be nominated, applied for and approved prior to the event date.
