Belmont Common lights

We aim to provide quality recreation reserves to support the ongoing success of the local sporting community, and have installed sports lighting on the second oval at Belmont Common. This ground is available to local clubs via the Casual Booking Form.

  Bookings

• A Casual Hire Application form needs to be completed and submitted to the Community & Recreation Unit for approval & Public Liability Insurance for the amount of $20 million provided.

• A booking is not confirmed/approved until a confirmation letter is received from the Community & Recreation Unit.

Costs

• Use of the Belmont Common at night during the Winter Season (1 April – 30 September) will incur a charge of $30 per hour, incorporating the cost of power and maintenance of the floodlight facilities.

Key access

• A club representative is required to pick up the keys from Barwon Valley Activity Centre (BVAC)  on the day of the booking and the keys must be returned the same night of the booking.  

• Please bring photograph ID with you when collecting the key.

Terms and conditions 

• This reserve will be allocated on a casual basis only. 

• Hire Fees will be invoiced on a term by term basis. 

• The City reserves the right to cancel/re-schedule bookings at any time.

• The City reserves the right to decline an application at our discretion.
