Community Agents of Sustainability Network

The Community Agents of Sustainability Network (CAOS) links services, government and community working in community development in the Geelong region. 

The network has over 500 members, representing most agencies and government departments in the Barwon Region. They aim to:

  • identify and respond to community aspirations

  • increase service delivery, prospects and overall prosperity for communities challenged by social and economic disadvantage

  • network with like-minded people to improve outcomes

Attend our bi-monthly meetings where members present their projects and activities, raise relevant issues and network with the broad range of service providers, agencies and community groups.

Fortnightly newsletter

Receive the fortnightly CAOS newsletter which provides all members the opportunity to promote their projects, programs and activities, share recent research or post topical discussions.

Professional development

The CAOS network offers professional development activities around community development and community building practices.

Previous sessions have included project planning, understanding evaluation, successful consultation and perspectives on poverty, power and social change.
