The City invites photographers
to submit entries for the 2021 City of Greater Geelong calendar!
Each year the City produces a
popular calendar comprised of photographs from talented local photographers,
including professionals, skilled amateurs and beginners.
This year, entrants are being
asked to submit images are ‘uniquely Geelong’ across four categories.
The four categories are nature,
events and people, landscapes, and architecture and urban spaces.
The images are
to be accompanied by short explanations of why the places depicted are
‘uniquely Geelong’ and what the subjects mean to the person taking the
As in previous years, 13 images
will be selected to appear in the 2021 calendar pages and cover and
photographers will be credited in the printed calendar, on the City website and
via social media.
The calendar, which details a variety of events,
markets and special days will be distributed to around 130,000 households.

Entries close 28 August 2020,
with a shortlist of images to be put to a public vote in early September.
