BVAC is a venue for sports competitions, providing exceptional training facilities and the ability to host events and markets. BVAC offers a friendly and inclusive environment, catering to patrons and organisations of all abilities.
BVAC is also the home of the Belmont Market which is managed and delivered by the City of Greater Geelong's Recreation Facilities team. We take pride in delivering markets each Sunday. In 2024, we will deliver 50 market events for the community. The Belmont Market is the most affordable community market to take part in Victoria.
Facilities hire

Cricket lanes and pickleball court hire may be booked up to 7 days in advance of the intended date and time.
Cricket lanes and court hire is subject to availability and will be displayed on the client portal. If no availability is shown, this indicates that cricket lanes or court hire is unavailable due to existing bookings, or the venue is closed).
Cricket clubs 2024:
Clubs and individuals may visit the Client Portal to view remaining available cricket lanes for hire and complete a booking online. We are no longer accepting club booking requests for 2024.

*Please be advised that submitting the Barwon Valley Activity Centre (BVAC) facility hire request form does not guarantee an immediate booking. A facilities hire request will depend upon availability, suitability, and adherence to the Conditions of Hire, which must be accepted by all individuals and groups. Completion of the form is a requirement which applies to both existing and new hirers.
Barwon Valley Activity Centre is scheduled for closure on Friday 20 December 2024 and re-open in Term 1, 2025.
