Apply for a building information request

You can apply for information on all constructions on your property using this request.

When you apply for a building information request you will need to:

  1. Download a Building / Property Information Request Form.*
  2. Complete all relevant sections.
  3. Return your application to our Building Services department for processing.
  4. You will receive an invoice for payment.

*Fees relating to the sections required are specified on the form.

Use this application to apply under Building Regulations 2018, Regulation 51 for the following:

  • Details of 'designated areas' - flooding, termite, significant snowfall, bushfire attack level, designated land or works.
  • Details of building permits, occupancy permits and final certificates issued in the past 10 years.
  • Details of current building notices and orders.
  • Inspection approval dates of the mandatory notification stages for building works.

Note: the information on the certificate is only valid on the day of its creation as the information is subject to change at any time.
