The purpose of the Arts Industry Commissions (AIC) Program is to provide support to professionals working in the arts, cultural and
heritage sectors who have been impacted adversely by COVID-19.
Importantly, this includes supporting our local arts
industry professionals to continue to create art in all its forms, which we
recognise as fundamental to both the viability of the arts and the broader community
cultural sectors, city life, the cultural economy, health and cultural identity.
The AIC Program will specifically seek to support projects aligned
with one or more of the following five key areas:
- Community Health
- Urban Design
- Marketing and Tourism
- Cultural Heritage
- Public Experiences
Individuals, sole traders, organisations and venues in the
arts and creative industries will be eligible to apply.
The AIC program will offer up to 15 individual commissions
of up to $20,000 each, for projects to be completed before 30 June 2021.
