The Armstrong Creek West Precinct is a residential precinct within the Armstrong Creek Urban Growth Area.

Open space, including sporting ovals, walking and bicycle tracks as well as neighbourhood retail and schools will be provided and, all within easy reach of Geelong, Torquay and Melbourne.
Amendment C240
The Minister for Planning has approved Amendment C240 - Armstrong Creek West Precinct to the Greater Geelong Planning Scheme.
The amendment came into operation on 7 March 2012 which was the date the notice was published in the Government Gazette.
The amendment incorporates the Armstrong Creek West Precinct Structure Plan (ACWPSP) and associated Armstrong Creek West Development Contributions Plan (ACWDCP) into the Greater Geelong Planning Scheme.
The ACWPSP and ACWDCP apply to 61 parcels ranging in size from approximately 0.4 hectares to 52 hectares totalling approximately 559 hectares of rural land known as the Armstrong Creek West Precinct.
The ACWP land is bounded by the Surf Coast Highway to the east, the existing Melbourne-Warrnambool railway line to the north, Ghazeepore Road to the west and an irregular boundary to the south, comprising the Armstrong Creek, Whites Road and Feehans Road.
