Bellarine Youth Action Crew (BYAC)

Bellarine Youth Action Crew (BYAC) are a group of dedicated young people aged 12-25.

BYAC organise events and activities around the Bellarine Peninsula aimed at bettering the community and promoting the positivity of young people.

Members of BYAC are volunteers that meet regularly to organise events/activities, and are responsible for all facets of event management, from planning through to implementation and evaluation.

BYAC aims to provide opportunities for young people to improve their skills, organise events, make a difference, create change and help others. In doing this BYAC improves the image of young people and increases social connection between young people and adults.

Some of the previous events and activities BYAC have organised include an arts show at Potato Shed, a camp to the Summit in Trafalgar, free hugs days, pyjama party, cyber bullying training sessions for young people and adults and participating in the Relay For Life, Ocean Grove.

If you are interested in your local community this could be for you. Membership to the BYAC committee is limited, and comes up occasionally through the year.

Young people interested in hearing more about Bellarine Youth Action Crew (BYAC) can call the BYAC Project Worker on 03 5272 5272.
