Land development - Investigation and planning
All land development needs thorough investigation to prepare the application for a planning permit.
All land development within the City of Greater Geelong must be in accordance with the principles of the Sustainable Communities -Infrastructure Development Guidelines. Developers and Consultants need to be familiar with the general principles contained within these guidelines. (A copy of this document can be requested using the Feedback form below).

Consult with our Planning staff as early as possible in your development proposal plans for help with your Planning permit application. Developers are encouraged to arrange a pre-application meeting with Planning Staff to discuss their development proposal.
