World Wide Knit in Public Day

Better living through stitching together!

WWKIPDAY is unique, in that it’s the largest knitter run event in the world.

Visit the National Wool Museum with your knitting and receive free entry. Between 10:00am and 4:00pm Museum volunteers will be on hand to teach you how to knit.

World Wide Knit in Public Day started in 2005 by Danielle Landes. It began as a way for knitters to come together and enjoy each other’s company.

Consider this a spark, to ignite a fire; getting all of the closeted knitters out into fresh air.
