Sports Development Plan - Armstrong Creek
The Sports Development Plan is necessary to guide and support the establishment and sustainable delivery of sport for the emerging Armstrong Creek community.
In lieu of an existing community the Sports Development Plan will focus on creating a road map for sport provision and delivery models in Armstrong Creek that integrates with existing sporting structures across the G21 Region.
The Armstrong Creek Sports Development Plan will:
1. Analyse best practice sports development models of growth area communities.
2. Develop a strategic approach for providing and delivering sport.
3. Facilitate collaboration between state, regional and local sporting associations and leagues.
4. Identify how sport contributes to delivering social, health and wellbeing outcomes.
The City of Greater Geelong will provide regular updates regarding this plan to keep the community informed.
