Belmont Common South (including South Barwon Reserve.)

The southern section of the Belmont Common encompasses the South Barwon Recreation Reserve and also has a number of separate areas for specific recreational pursuits. The Common is home to the Target Rifle Club at the rifle range, the Geelong Obedience Dog Club and the Geelong & District Riding Club on the south side of the Waurn Ponds Creek. It also houses the Barwon Valley Golf Club and driving range.
The reserve is diverse in uses and natural beauty along the river banks and the Jerringot Wetland area.
