The Belmont Common is a large area set alongside the Barwon River for recreational pursuits. The reserve has high passive recreational use in addition to the three ovals with hard wickets and cricket practice nets. The reserve has been well developed for junior football and womens cricket.
This reserve has been designed for sporting clubs to hire on a casual basis and has flood lights for winter training.
