City News, Department Updates
- The gym and administration areas are almost complete with gym flooring being laid soon.
- The two theme park style waterslides have arrived from Canada and will be stored temporarily while works continue on the rest of the wintergarden.
- All pool shells are complete and are now being tiled, the concourse areas, hydro pool and spa are almost finished and the wintergarden water play area is underway.
- Installation of the waterslide tower will commence soon.
- Construction is expected to be completed end July. A few weeks have been allowed for equipment set up, filling the pool, staff training and water testing before the centre opens its doors in August.
