Request Professional Research at the Geelong Heritage Centre
We offer a professional research service to those who are unable to visit the Heritage Centre.
Most enquiries can be handled over the phone or via email. We have many indexes and catalogues that staff can consult in order to quickly answer your questions.
If you are after more in depth research, such as help with your family tree or a rate book search, you might like to apply for professional research. For $47 our staff will conduct one hour of research and compile a resource file to send to you either in hard copy or digital format. You will be advised of any further costs if your subject of interest yields many results.
To request research please include in your correspondence all relevant details of your search and let us know what records you have and what you already know. This helps us to follow all possible avenues of research and prevents doubling up on items you may have already found.
