Online Image Library Navigation
When using our Image Library Search page there are a number of options to search:
- If you are looking for a specific person, place or event you can type it straight in to the search field.
- You can browse the different subjects or click on popular subjects.
- Choose one of the three featured collections that will give you some idea of the different types of images held by the Heritage Centre.
The search will only find exact matches so you may wish to try different variations such as ocean grove bridge or barwon heads bridge in order to find photographs of the Ocean Grove/Barwon Heads Bridge.
Once you have found an image you can then click on the name of the collection to see all the images from that collection. For instance, if you search for cambrai private hospital and then click on the image's title or the thumbnail image, you will see that the image belongs to the Ian Hawthorne Collection.
Clicking on the collection's name will show you other images from this collection which have been scanned and added to the Image Library. You can also click on one of the subjects to see all images featuring that subject.
