Healthy Together Geelong
Healthy Together Geelong engages workplaces, schools and early learning centres as well as the community to strengthen Geelong’s prevention system. By addressing the underlying causes of poor health and putting the emphasis of healthy living back into local hands, we can create a healthier community.
Healthy Together Geelong is using local partnerships and a skilled health promotion workforce to encourage healthy eating and physical activity, reduce smoking and harmful alcohol use and improving mental health. Learn more about why Geelong needs to focus on prevention for better health and how we are working within the Geelong community.
Workplaces, schools and early learning services that work with Healthy Together Geelong can access the following services for free: receive assistance with wellbeing policies and surveys; receive assistance to create health and wellbeing initiatives; be connected with health and wellbeing experts; attend networking events and workshops; receive access to tools to gain recognition for work in health and wellbeing.
Healthy Together Geelong is a partnership between City of Greater Geelong, Barwon Health and Bellarine Community Health Ltd and is supported by the Victorian Government to improve the health of the community.
