The Geelong Arena is situated 4 kilometres from Geelong CBD and 74 kilometres from Melbourne.

We are centrally located adjacent to North Geelong Railway Station (Melbourne-Geelong-Warrnambool line) on Princes Highway (Melbourne Road).

Car

50 minutes (or 74 kilometres) from Melbourne Central Business District (CBD).


Parking

The Arena within its boundaries has 103 well lit car parking spaces. There are in excess of 500 spaces in V/Line carparks surrounding the venue also.

Train

Situated directly opposite the North Geelong Railway station, 50 minutes from Southern Cross Station (formally Spencer Street Station), Melbourne.

By bicycle

Bicycles are not permitted inside The Geelong Arena however we do encourage this mode of transport.

There are currently limited bike racks available at Baxter Road entrance.

An interactive map of Geelong highlights the various shared paths and on-road cycle lanes to help you plan you journey.

Patrons are required to supply their own lock. The Geelong Arena Management are not responsible for any loss or damage to bicycles secured on site.


Air Travel

Avalon Airport is 20 kilometres from Geelong CBD.

Avalon Airport Shuttle bus service meets every incoming and outgoing flight and provides transport between Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast.

Melbourne Airport is approximately 70 kilometres from Geelong.

Gull Airport Services provides transport between Geelong and Melbourne Airport.

Disabled access

The Arena a “disabled friendly venue” and complies with all disability anti-discrimination legislation. The venue has an elevator to enable movement between floors with disabled seating and toilets facilities available. There are no obstacles for wheelchairs entering or leaving the building

The Geelong Arena does accept companion cards.
