Easements - Can I build over one?
If there is a drainage easement, you will need Council Consent to build over the easement.
You will also need the consent of any other relevant authority who has an interest in the easement. For example, Barwon Water consent is required to build over any Sewerage or Water Supply easement.
Refer to your Certificate of Title and Subdivision Plan for details relating to the location and type of easement.
