Request Replacement of Essential Water
You can apply to have replacement of essential water that may have been removed from your dams and water ways and used for fire fighting purposes by the fire agencies.
You will need to notify us if you believe that essential water has been taken by fire agencies during fire suppression from your property.
As the landholder, you will be required to:
- complete a Water Replacement Request Form
- submit your completed form to us for processing.
We will check and verify the information you have supplied with the Incident Control Centres (ICC) during large fire events or with the Country Fire Authority (CFA) or Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) Regional Duty Officer for smaller fires.
Special Note
This is part of the Replacement of Essential Water Following Bushfire Policy that has been created by the DSE, Land and Fire Management Division.
