There are several options available to you to pay your rates.

Online

How you can pay

You can make a payment online using Visa or MasterCard. (Minimum Payment amount is $5 Aus).


What will you need

Rate Number example 

You will find step by step instructions as you go through the payment process.
  • Fields marked with a * require information to be provided.
  • At the end you will be given a reference number.
  • Receipts for online payments are not available, however you can either print the final screen or note down the details for future reference.
  • Close the browser window when you are finished.
  • When using the service we recommend that you use the navigation buttons provided within the screens.
  • Use of the 'enter' key in some screens may have unexpected results.


    Direct Debit

    Complete and return the Direct Debit Application Form below and send to Revenue Department, PO Box 104, Geelong, VIC, 3220

    Rates Direct Debit Options are: 

    • One annual payment
    • Four quarterly instalments
    • Nine monthly set instalments from September to May
    • Twenty fortnightly set instalments from September to May


    By Phone


    In Person

    • Visit any of our Customer Service Centres using cash, cheque, postal order credit card or EFTPOS.
    • At any Post Office or Australia Post Agency using cash, cheque, or EFTPOS.

    Other

    • Using BPay - contact your bank or financial institution (please refer to the back of your rate notice for more information)
    • By mail - please send to: PO Box 104, Geelong, VIC, 3220
    • Using Centrepay - a direct debit option available via Centrelink

    When a due date for rate payment falls on the weekend, you can pay on Monday without any penalties.
