Request Nature Strip Mowing for Fire Hazard Reduction

We will respond to, and investigate, any reports of overgrown grass that are fire hazards on nature strips.

We mow/slash nature strips that are adjacent to developed blocks once per year during the fire season. 

If you wish to request overgrown grass be mowed on a nature strip that you believe is a fire hazard please complete the feedback section below.

Nature Strips - Who do I report damage on my nature strip to?
If the damage on a nature strip is caused by a Service Provider, the damage should be repaired by the relevant Service Provider. 

If it is unknown who caused the damage please report the damage so that we will investigate the matter further.

Nature Strips - Will you maintain my naturestrip?
No, we will not maintain nature strips on a regular basis.

On direction from our Fire Prevention Officer, we will remove fire hazards. 

We will only repair safety issues on established nature strips.
