Book the Geelong Botanic Gardens for a Ceremony

The Geelong Botanic Gardens can be booked for weddings, naming ceremonies and commitments ceremonies.

As we only book one event at a time it is recommended that you contact us to check the availability. A tentative booking is advisable to avoid later disappointment.

When you call us, we will ask you for the following information:
  • What date is the function?
  • What time is the function?
  • What site would you like to select?
  • What is your name, address and contact number?
If you are unsure about what site you would like, our Geelong Botanic Gardens Visitor Map may be helpful or you may prefer to visit the gardens and inspect the 8 different sites.

Geelong Botanic Gardens - Are the Gardens wheelchair friendly?
People in wheelchairs can access some parts of the gardens, however there are some steps and gravel paths which are not accessible by wheelchairs.

Disabled entry is via the front entrance.  There are disabled carparks on Eastern Park circuit at the main entrance.  Adjacent to the disabled carpark is a ramp to the main entrance gates.

Geelong Botanic Gardens - How do I get to the Gardens?
You can travel to the Geelong Botanic Gardens by a variety of methods including bus and private transport.

Geelong Botanic Gardens - Is there a Cafe in the Gardens?
The Gardens has a Tea House.  It provides morning and afternoon teas and light lunches.

Opening hours are 11.00am to 4.00pm daily except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Good Friday.

The Teahouse may close in inclement weather.

During Daylight Savings opening hours are from 7:30am to 7:00pm.

All other times opening hours are from 7:30am to 5:00pm.

Geelong Botanic Gardens - Where can I park?
There is parking available at the Geelong Botanic Gardens. 

Entrance to carpark is off Eastern Park Circuit near Podbury Drive.
