Location
The Museum is located at the corner of Moorabool and Brougham Streets in the heart of central Geelong, one block from the waterfront and a ten minute walk from the Geelong Railway Station.

Parking
Surrounding the National Wool Museum is a range of short and long term parking options, including two disabled parks and two loading zones directly in front of the Museum. To assist your planning, refer to the map of Central Geelong for carpark locations.
Bus Parking
Bus parking is available directly in front of the Museum on Moorabool Street.
Travelling By Rail
V/Line operate trains daily from Melbourne Southern Cross to Geelong and the train station is an easy ten minute walk from the Museum.
During summer months a free shuttle bus service operates between the train station and the Museum.

Accessibility
The Museum is fully accessible at street entry and there are ramps to every level. Accessible parking is located immediately in front of the Museum. Accessible toilets are located on each level.
Guided Tours
The Museum is designed for self-guiding and our friendly volunteers are on hand throughout the Museum to answer your questions. Free guided tours can be arranged for pre-booked groups or you can explore on your own using our Visitors Guide.
Special Interest
Personalised tours can be arranged for special interest groups and study tours by our Education Officer.
Length of Visit
We suggest a minimum of 90 minutes to tour the Museum. Allow extra time for shopping and refreshments in the Black Sheep Cafe.
