Park and Ride - Eastern Park
We provide a Park and Ride shuttle bus service between Hearne Parade and Malop Street in Geelong from Monday to Friday each week.
 The Park and Ride - Eastern Park shuttle bus operates from 7:30am to 10:00am and from 4:00pm to 6:30pm Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).
Travelling time is approximately 10 minutes each way using the shuttle bus.
Travel on comfortable, modern and air-conditioned buses.
Parking
Free all day parking is available at Tail Light Alley (Upper Hearne Parade) in Eastern Park for Park and Ride users.
Bus Stops
In the morning the shuttle picks passengers up from Upper Hearne Parade in Eastern Park and drops them off at three locations.
Look for the red Central Geelong Shuttle signs on posts at these locations:
- Moorabool Street, between Malop and Corio Streets
- Yarra Street, between Malop and Lt Malop Streets
- Ryrie Street, between Yarra and Bellerine Streets
Of an evening, passengers may board the bus from the morning drop off locations, at the stops listed above, and the bus will return passengers to the car park at Upper Hearne Parade.
Bus Fees
The cost for this service is $2 per person per day - this includes all day parking and return bus fare.
Purchase your bus ticket at the ticket machine in Eastern Park. This is a cash only transaction.
Please show the ticket to the driver on boarding the bus.
Alternatively, if you want to walk one way and catch the shuttle the other direction, you can purchase one way passes for $20 (20 rides) from City Hall, 30 Gheringhap Street in Geelong .
Multi Ride Tickets are be available from all City of Greater Geelong Customer Service Centres. Multi Ride tickets are also available (cash only) from Market Square Centre Management, 1st floor.
Please note: You can park all day at Tail Light Alley for free and walk to work as an alternative to catching the bus. Should you choose to catch the bus please show your ticket to the bus driver.
