Meals on Wheels

Meals On Wheels is a food delivery service we provide to help frail, aged people and those with disabilities.

We have a group of volunteers who collect and deliver meals to those members of our community who have requested this assistance.

Provision of meals assists residents who may have difficulties preparing their own meals due to health or disabilities. Meals may also be provided to cater to specific dietary requirements.

Menus

Clients are able to make their own meal selections from menus which are distributed by our volunteers. For clients with allergies, a glossary of the ingredients can be supplied to assist with meal selection

Service Eligibility

To be eligible for Meals on Wheels you need to be assessed by one of our Assessment and Review officers.

Our Assessment Officers will meet with you to identify dietary requirements and arrange suitable days for meal delivery by our friendly and helpful volunteers.

Other Services

You may also beĀ eligible for Home and Community Care Services if you are a recipient of Department of Veteran Affairs, Aged Pensioner, Disability Pension, Disability Allowance, etc.

Meals on Wheels Fees

The meal consists of Soup, Main Course and Sweet and is delivered to the client's home by our team of dedicated volunteers. Meals on Wheels fees will vary pending an assessment from a Community Care Officer.
