Clean Up Australia Day
Clean Up Australia Day happens every year.
The first Clean Up Australia Day occurred in Sydney in 1989. The concept was so popular, it has become an annual event all over Australia.
Anyone in the community can participate. Special days are scheduled for interested sections of the community.
Individuals and local groups can either choose their own site to Clean Up or volunteer at an existing site.
To register your Clean Up site or if you want to volunteer at one of the many registered sites visit Clean Up Australia. Registrations for sites within the City of Greater Geelong need to be completed by Friday 17 February 2012.
