Cr Kylie Fisher
Represents: Corio Ward
Elected to the City of Greater Geelong Council in November 2008, Cr Kylie Fisher represents the Corio Ward, which includes Corio, Norlane and North Shore.
Cr Fisher has lived in Norlane for the past eleven years and is the sole parent of three amazing children.
Cr Fisher is passionate about building on the many strengths her community has, using a positive focus to identify and achieve her community’s aspirations.
As an active member and advocate of the Corio/Norlane area Cr Fisher understands her local community and has served on many local committees taking on various roles from president to general membership and is still volunteering with local community groups today.
Cr Fisher is currently studying Youth Work which will support her role in Council and her interest in working with young people.
Cr Fisher’s most recent employment has been a student support officer for the education department, supporting children and young people with specific needs.
Her personal interests include renovating her house, fishing, camping, watching her children play sport and the AFL (supporting Collingwood).
Cr Fisher holds the Council portfolio for Community Development and represents the City on committees such as:
