Information for candidates

Nominations for the upcoming Greater Geelong City Council election closed at midday on 26 September 2017. 

Following this, the VEC conducted a ballot for each of the four wards with nominations in ballot order able to be viewed on the Victorian Electoral Commission website.

Candidates should be well-versed regarding the role of both Council and Councillor and the responsibilities of being an elected representative of their community.
