Crash Course Productions (CCP)
Crash Course Productions Inc (CCP) is a group of young people who organise ‘all-age’ drug, alcohol and smoke free music events at The Potato Shed, in Drysdale, and around Geelong.
CCP concerts are professional events that provide young people the chance to see the latest live acts perform. The events are fully supervised, and strictly drug, alcohol and smoke free, with no pass-outs. Food and soft drinks are usually also available for sale.
CCP has organised many ‘all ages’ events over the years. Some of these events involved bands such as Parkway Drive, I Killed the Prom Queen, House vs Hurricane, Behind Crimson Eyes, The Getaway Plan and The Galvatrons. CCP has also been involved in organising National Youth Week events and Make Poverty History Geelong events.
Members of the CCP Committee met regularly to organise events, and are responsible for all facets of event management, from planning through to implementation and evaluation.
CCP also has a ‘Street Team’ that promotes CCP events by putting up flyers and telling people about upcoming events.
