Best Start
Best Start is a Victorian Government funded initiative which aims to improve the health, development and well being of all children from before birth through transition to school.
It seeks to achieve this through supporting communities, parents, families and service providers to improve local early years services and support.
Why we do this
Improvements to local support are designed to:
- Result in better access to child and family support, health services and early education
- Improve the capacity and confidence of parents to be, parents and families to care for children and help them to enjoy parenting
- Assist communities to become more child friendly
These measures mean that together we can give children the best possible start for their future health, education and social well being.
