STOP Frame...Animations by Lara young people

With the opening of the new Lara Library, the Youth Development Unit and Geelong Regional Libraries Corporation worked together to support this great new facility with free workshops over January 2012.
Art, blogging, journalism and animation workshops created a fantastic holiday program attend by over 30 young people.
Young people aged 12-16 made the following animations with artist Matt Bonner. These talented young people learnt the techniques involved in ‘stop frame animation’ creating short films on the theme of ‘books’.
The finished short films will be shown in all Libraries across Geelong on their ‘in house’ video systems and is here for you to view online as well.
