Meals on Wheels Information

The aim of the Food Service is to provide a nutritionally balanced meal to clients who are either frail aged or have a disability.

To be eligible for Meals on Wheels you need to be assessed by one of our Assessment and Review officers.

You may also be eligible for Home and Community Care Services if you are a recipient of Department of Veteran Affairs, Aged Pensioner, Disability Pension, Disability Allowance, etc.

Meals on Wheels Fees

The meal consists of Soup, Main Course and Sweet and is delivered to the client's home by our team of dedicated volunteers. Meals on Wheels fees will vary pending an assessment from a Community Care Officer.

Meals on Wheels Accounts
We send out accounts for Meals on Wheels throughout the year:

8 accounts at 4 weeks = 32 weeks; and
4 accounts at 5 weeks = 20 weeks

This makes a total of 52 weeks.
