Location
Bell Post Hill is a residential suburb 4km north-west of Geelong, bounded by the Midland Highway to Ballarat, Rollins and Anakie roads, and the Ballarat railway line.

Description
Bell Post Hill offers sweeping views across Corio Bay and north to the You Yangs.

The W.H. Myers Reserve to the north-west of the suburb holds many ofGeelong's key sporting grounds. Rugby, soccer, baseball, bowls and football grounds are all contained in the extensive parklands.

Bell Post Hill is culturally diverse and home to several ethnic clubs and churches. The non-denominational Kardinia International College on Ballarat Road and the Christian-aligned Covenant College on Creamery Road are two of Geelong's leading independent schools.

History
The suburb's name is thought to have arisen from a lookout or warning bell on a post which was erected on the hill overlooking Corio Bay. The earliest recorded use of the bell was during conflict with local Aborigines in 1837.

Morongo homestead, now on the National Estate's register, was built in 1859. The two-storey stone building became the Morongo Presbyterian Girls' School in 1926 and the Kardinia International College in 1996. The suburb became popular among immigrants to Australia after the wars.
