Geelong Station serves passengers travelling by V/Line train or bus to and from:

  • Marshall, South Geelong, Werribee and greater Melbourne
  • Warrnambool, Port Fairy and Mount Gambier
  • The Great Ocean Road
  • Bannockburn, Meredith, Buninyong and Ballarat

Contact V/Line on 136 196 or www.vline.com.au for timetable and fare information.

The state rail freight network, based at the North Geelong railyards, transports 1.5 million tonnes of freight each year. Rail freight services were enhanced in 1995 by the construction of the national standard gauge line to link Geelong by rail with all Australian capital cities.
