The Wine Science degree was launched in 2001, with the first intake of students enrolled in 2002.
The innovative new program is a collaboration between Deakin University, Charles Sturt University, which is renowned for its winemaking courses, the Victorian Wine Industry Association and Holmesglen Institute of TAFE.
The four-year course includes two semesters of industry placements in wineries.
