Dumped litter
Unfortunately dumped rubbish has become a problem in recent times, particularly in terms of the significant cost imposed on Council to dispose of this litter as crews are re-deployed away from their normal day to day duties.
Infrastructure Operations staff will collect litter from sites whereby litter has been illegally dumped unless an owner can be found, however, residents are encouraged to notify the Local Laws department should details be attainable of who actually dumped the rubbish and when for prosecution purposes.
