Council operates a survey and design office from premises in Brougham Street , Geelong .

A Licensed Surveyor and survey team are able to carry out title surveys, preparation of subdivision plans and engineering surveys. The majority of work is done for the City, however a limited amount of external work is carried out.

A design team consists of engineers, draftspersons and technical officers.

A range of civil design projects are undertaken including road and drainage design as well as traffic engineering projects.

The office also manages and facilitates specialist design projects using external consultants.
