The St Leonards Urban Design Framework (UDF) has been prepared as an ongoing guide for improvements within St Leonards. The UDF contains a number of recommendations for improvements to public spaces in the township, including the preparation of a master plan for St Leonards Lake Reserve; improvements to town entrances; enhanced pedestrian and cycle links; the implementation of a concept plan for the Foreshore and Pier area and additional planting of indigenous flora in reserves and parklands.
The UDF was endorsed by Council on 26 September 2006 and will be taken into consideration when Council and other relevant agencies are allocating resources for the town.
