This report Demographic Profiles of the Townships and Rural Areas of the Bellarine Peninsula 2006 - 2016 presents 2001 census figures and 2016 population projections for each of the townships and Rural Bellarine.
While every effort has been made to ensure that this data is correct some inconsistencies have been identified in the 2016 population projections, particularly for Point Lonsdale. These inconsistencies have been traced to the Australian Bureau of Statistics population projections. Caution should be taken when using population projections, particularly those cited for Point Lonsdale.
