The strong local identity of the Bellarine Peninsula is reflected in the 'All of Bellarine Peninsula' Community Vision 2006 - 2016. This community vision was developed by the members of the Bellarine Peninsula Strategic Plan Community Reference Committee working together with the Bellarine Peninsula Strategic Plan Working Group. This combined group represented: all of the townships and Rural Bellarine; City's Strategic Planning, Community Development and Economic Development; and key land managers and community health organisations working on the Bellarine Peninsula.
