The City of Greater Geelong issues Planning Certificates for all land and property within the municipal boundaries.
A Planning Certificate is normally required when a block of land or a property is changing hands or being re-mortgaged, for inclusion in the Section 32 information.
The Certificate gives information on planning zones and overlays including heritage listings and/or precincts affecting the named property and adjoining properties.
The current fee for a Planning Certificate is $16.80, or a 'fast track' fee of $50.00, which guarantees issue of the certificate within 24 hours.
