The Heritage Conservation Assessment has been prepared in accordance with the guidelines and requirements established by Heritage Victoria.

  The Heritage Conservation Assessment provides an updated assessment of the cultural heritage significance of the park and gardens and their hard and soft landscaping elements. The assessment is intended to provide the basis for developing conservation management policies, which in turn inform the master plan.

  Appendices A-B provide detailed assessment of Hard Landscape Elements in Eastern Park and the Geelong Botanic Gardens.
