Site 6 - Drysdale and Clifton Springs
A number of potential breeding sites, around Drysdale and Clifton Springs, are routinely monitored and treated accordingly. These sites include McLeods Waterhole, Lake Lorne, and areas around the Drysdale Recreation Reseve and Clifton Springs Drainage Reserve. The main impact on these sites is due to significant rainfall activity, which allows for the edges of these lakes and reserves to fill with water, which is the ideal environment for dormant mosquito eggs to develop.
